Lg released official update for Gingerbread version of ANDROID, The most popular os fo LG OPTIMUS ONE ....
Users can now enjoy update for free either by taking it to Official LG AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRES IN INDIA...
THE other method is Using lg pc suite IV for updating.... MY Recommendation is SERVICE CENTRES as u may brick it if u are a newbie....
For newbies having a hard time locating service centres, m gonna post methods for updation...

The LG INDIA has recently replied me in an email regarding GINGERBREAD UPDATE in India....
According to Lg India, ALL INDIAN OPTIMUS ONE USERS CAN EXPECT GINGERBREAD UPDATE IN LATE AUGUST-EARLY SEPTEMBER....
Now, i dont think thats far away.. Its merely half a month as today already is 12 AUGUST.... So, all indian optimuses, get ur DATA BACKUP, ALL CONTACTS AND MESSAGES BACKUP so that Optimus can taste Gingerbread AS ITS ALREADY FESTIVE SEASON IN INDIA STARTED.....
