so guys... u own an Android or hope u will own one soon... I also own one LG OPTIMUS ONE ... So, all android users are atleast having a habit of changing Launchers ... atleast they get us rid of those buggy manufacturer UI...

I tried most of launchers out there.. LAUNCHER PRO, ADW LAUNCHER, LAUNCHER 7, LG HOME and lot others... i uninstalled them one by one getting dissatisfied..
Finally , i got "spb shell 3D".. A milestone in android launchers history.. I found it competing HTC SENSE UI, which is best ui till date imo...
Spb shell 3D is available in android market for a handsome 14$ or rs.628~…
Quite costly but worth it... Its silky smooth even on my LG OPTIMUS ONE with stock froyo rom...

It gives u full 3D interface on homescreen... The homescreens are nicely costomised in Weather, time, home, and others... it provides a dedicated weather update service, a flicker homepage for loading best pics via net and time showing time of diff. zones... Weather service i liked most as it shows nice animations along with wind speed , pressure and temperature... Its a must have UI experience for android users atleast for OPTIMUS ONE users who have got a plenty of ram.. AS the only downside of app is ram consumption... Before installing, nearly 287mb ram was free.. after install , i managed to get 228-234mb.. That means more battery consumption.... The app is very nice and i really liked the way it managed whole android exp. on 7 homescreens..

3D was attracting, transitions were silk smooth... and features were enjoyable...
When writing this review, i only spent 20min. with it and cant stop writing a review on it..
I give it 4.5/5 stars and give thumbs up to dev for creating it... So guys ,it was my review of SPB SHELL 3D.... HOPE u gonna get it for ur droids...

hey guys.... In this post, m gonna tell a few pros n cons of Lg Optimus one..

PROS:-
1)gud procesor and huge ram.. so no lags while multitasking...
2) adreno 200 gpu.. a graphic card that help in gaming as in computers...
3) gingerbread coming.. with gb it will become more smooth and video player res. also increase..
4) divx and xvid codecs..
5) almost all apps n games work.. some like mozilla firefox(worst browser) and flash dont work.. but we live without them..
6)battery performance is nice... with moderate usage , we get 1 day or even more... with heavy usage, i get 8-10 hours.. thats pretty nice compared to other droids.
7)Gaming is good even hd games play nicely...

CONS:-
1) touch lag bug... the phone lags a bit while gaming... but its still nice and this will be solved with gingerbread update...
2) flash doesnt work.. although flash is not a neccesity... iphone never had it... i can live without flash.. my friends with flash capable phones had disabled it as it increases data consumption.. so not a big deal..

So guys.. these are all i observed in both categories... no phone is completely perfect... At this price, optimus is best deal for features n performance it delivers...
hard to live without OPTIMUS....

LG OPTIMUS ONE vs LG OPTIMUS NET

so guys.. here are the views that i think about LG OPTIMUS NET... Can it stand in front of Optimus one....
Optimus net is latest budget android from LG.. They got quite a big succes with huge sales of lg optimus one.. Now they again want a dedicated success with Lg optimus net...
Lg optimus one offers 800mhz proccei, 512mb ram, a 3mp camera and so called usual android stuffs... Now coming to improvements from optimus one ,only a turbo charged processor from optimus one at 200 mhz ensuring a 33% increase in performance but architecture is same arm v6, so better forget flash support in browser... Even optimus one can be overclocked to 825 mhz... Ram is same so no change in performa.... The major dissappointment in net is INTERNET... Only HSDPA 3.6 mbps is disaster... even optimus one and other budget androids offer 7.2mbps standard... HSUPA is also a common feature now a days... Screen size, resolution and colours are same.. so no big deal for optimus one.. camera is 3 mp without flash.. so i dont think any change in Camera unit from optimus one.. Only change is NET do video recording at vga(640*480) at 24fps... but that is software enhancement and maybe our OPTIMUS ONE may do it after gingerbread update... Battery is same 1500mah.. battery backup may increase due to latest android version... Finally coming to operating system... Optimus net comes with Gingerbread 2.3 android version... We all know that gb update has started rolling out for optimus one.. so no fear for optimus one...

CONCLUSION..-
Seeing th specs and features that optimus net offers, we cant say optimus net is a successor to our leader Optimus ONE.. a 1ghz arm v7 cpu, a 3.5" screen,better screen may have made optimus net a successor but at current specs,it may be said that OPTIMUS NET is only a bit improved Optimus one and not Successor...
THEREFORE, OPTIMUS ONE USERS CAN RELAX AND THERE IS NO THREAT TO LEADER OPTIMUS ONE ......

BEST CAMERA RECORDING APP FOR LG OPTIMUS ONE

hey guys.. recently i came to know about this wonderful app called lgcamera...
its free from market and allows u to record in mp4 format and quality is way bettet than default camera app... try this and do share new apps...
In that in settings ,video settings,
set video resolution as 640x480 ,video
encoder h264 , video file format mpeg4 ,
bitrate 4 Mbit ,video framerates as 20 .
in audio settings , set audio source
microphone , audio encoder aac , sample
rate 44100 , bitrate 12800.. have fun..

gingerbread starts rolling out for optimus one

LG has finally confirmed the roll out
of Gingerbread update for LG
Optimus One in Europe. According to
LG Chile FB page, Romania was the
first country to receive the Android
2.3.3 update, which will be followed
by Russia and then Chile and other
countries. Company is expected to
release more details soon.
LG has also announced that high-end
devices such as LG Optimus 2x and
Optimus 3D will be getting
Gingerbread after Optimus One roll
out is complete.
