GINGERBREAD UPDATE IN INDIA CONFIRMED

The LG INDIA has recently replied me in an email regarding GINGERBREAD UPDATE in India....
According to Lg India, ALL INDIAN OPTIMUS ONE USERS CAN EXPECT GINGERBREAD UPDATE IN LATE AUGUST-EARLY SEPTEMBER....
Now, i dont think thats far away.. Its merely half a month as today already is 12 AUGUST.... So, all indian optimuses, get ur DATA BACKUP, ALL CONTACTS AND MESSAGES BACKUP so that Optimus can taste Gingerbread AS ITS ALREADY FESTIVE SEASON IN INDIA STARTED.....

    LG is playing tricks with us to sell their mobiles,
    if GB update will get late from first week of sep
    than i will never buy lg products in my life,i will boycought lg and never recommend to any one

    LG isnt really fast when it comes to firmware updates, yet the releases that do come out are very stable, my Optimus One from V10b, V10e, V10f & V10g are good improvements. So I hope that the Gingerbread update when its finally released here in asia will be good. I firmly believe the initial update in romania was just for testing purposes. Hope it wont be further delayed this time. "PEACE"

    GB is already ported to LG Optimus One in Romania but I dun know why these guys taking too long to launch it in India. I was a Samsung Fan, and dont know why I bought this LG product. Samsung guys are best when it comes to customer support & quality handsets. Won't buy anything in future under this brand.

    I hope the Gingerbread update will have the new homescreen dock look, similar to the LG Optimus Net/Black/2x units. The default homescreen dock in the Optimus One is somewhat ugly. Im currently using ADW EX Launcher. "PEACE"

    The V20D Gingerbread update here in the philippines has removed the "info update app", Does that mean that this will be the last update for the Optimus One??? ...I hope not.
